~The blog hop post that would have been...

 Hi There Everyone~
I really felt that I owed this post to Lori and everyone who has participated in the first round of  reveals in the Bead Soup Blog Hop this post. This is the post I would have posted had I not been drawn away with the emergency of my daughter. I want to start by saying "Thank You" to Lori, my sweet, sweet partner, Jean Yates and everyone from the first reveal. When I had finally gotten my daughter down to nap and I got a chance to sneak into the hop to see how things were going and I have to say I was so very touched  ( it brought tears to my eyes :)   ) when I saw how many of you had taken the time to express your feelings of concern and caring and support. And a very special thank you to my very special partner who I feel so very fortunate to have been  paired with. She has been so very sweet, and supportive to me, giving me a place to lean on, and I am happy to say that I have a new lifetime friend. You all  have touched me so much and gained a special little place in my heart.
For the hop I made two pieces. The first of the two is a Handcrafted Wire Wrapped Pendant which converts to a Brooch. For this piece I wire wrapped links made up of beautiful polymer clay beads made by clay artist Emma Ralph, Jade, Fresh Water Pearl, Crystal and Gold Glass Pearl Beads. They are connected to wire wrapped spiral links that meet up to a handcrafted, very romantic Lace Neckline. The necklace is finished with a beautiful Patina'd flower clasp.
Here is a close up of the pendant/ brooch:

The second piece is a purse fob. While I wanted this fob to represent my usual romantic, vintage inspired mixed media style, I also wanted this piece to be fun! I started out with a fabulous round, ceramic focal bead also created by Emma Ralph. I wire wrapped the focal along with a bright cubed crystal and two smaller crystals into a beautiful charm. Then I  made a bunch of wire wrapped tiny hearts and linked them together to make a pretty, romantic chain. And then for the center...Do you LOVE beads? If you ARE a BEAD LOVER like most of  us are then this is the perfect OOAK Purse Fob for you! For the center I wire wrapped a handmade chain. Off of that handmade chain I have added a ton of  BEADING charms, hearts, and wire wrapped crystal dangles. These charms say it all! I LOVE these charms and have been hoarding them in my own special "no one touches" stash for years and decided that if ever there was a time that they were worthy it was now, with this hop, with the GREATEST PARTNER EVER-JEAN YATES!!

I will close by thanking you for taking the time to come back when the hop is all said and done and finished to come back over here and read the blog post that would have been~
                                                    THANK YOU!! XO XO  (((((HUGS)))))
                                             LOTS OF LOVE ALWAYS~
